I purchased my foundation bitch from Gail Rathbun of Windswept Kennels
in 1971.
 
Marguerita's Sire was BIS Ch. Loral's Iossif Ivanevitch and her Dam was KAOC's Katerina of Windswept C.D.
 
"Margy" was my ideal Borzoi. She had wonderful temperament and beautiful floating sidegait.  Pictured below, receiving BOB and GROUP II, ],
1976; "Margy" and I beat 2 male professional handlers as a Novice.

I purchased Glory from Gail Rathbun of Windswept.
I bred her to American and Canadian CH. Sirhan Baryatinsky because I wanted a more typey looking Borzoi with a pretty head, longer neck and longer legs.  Glory produced 8 puppies.


One of her sons became the famous one:

Sly exceeded my expectations.  Sly was purchased by Jay Cunningham because I knew he could get Sly out to dog shows
and special him. I knew that whenever Sly won , my kennel was winning too.  When Sly moved, he had extreme floating sidegait.

When Sly received his first Hound Group and Best In Show, I was there watching.  This was one of the most exciting days of my life, seeing a dog that I bred going BOB, Group I, and BEST IN SHOW!

"Tyedye" finished very quickly.
He had an extreme head and flowing sidegait.

 


Spencer was my stud puppy back from Kishniga Kennels. He had a magnificent head and extreme sidegait.
His beautiful type can still be seen in my dogs today.

I also purchased Kachina from Blackmoor Kennels and co-owned by Blackmoor.  Kachina was a half sister to Vega. She had beautiful type, movement, and personality. She never got breed.
